Effective Date: August 5, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern all bookings and services provided by Buzz'd Mobile Bar LLC ("Buzz'd," "we," "us," or "our"), a mobile bar service based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. By submitting a booking request, signing a service agreement, or paying a retainer, you ("Client") agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Dry Hire Service Model
Buzz'd operates as a dry hire bar service. Our packages include a licensed bartender, liquor liability insurance, travel, event prep, bar setup and equipment, cups, garnishes (where permitted), and coolers. Alcohol is not included in any package — Client is solely responsible for purchasing all alcohol served at the event, in accordance with Indiana law and any applicable local regulations. We provide a shopping list and quantity guidance during onboarding, but final purchasing decisions and compliance with state and local alcohol laws are the Client's responsibility.
2. Booking & Retainer
A booking is confirmed only once Client has (a) signed a service agreement and (b) paid a 50% non-refundable retainer of the total quoted price. Your event date is not held or guaranteed until both the signed agreement and retainer payment are received. The remaining balance is due prior to the event date as specified in your service agreement.
Because our retainer is non-refundable, we strongly encourage Client to confirm venue policies, guest count expectations, and permit requirements with their venue before signing the service agreement or submitting payment.
3. Cancellation Policy
- More than 30 days before the event: Client receives a refund of any balance paid, excluding the 50% non-refundable retainer.
- 15–30 days before the event: Client forfeits 50% of the total contracted amount.
- Less than 15 days before the event: Client forfeits the full contracted amount, as permit fees have been filed and staffing has been committed at that point.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to hello@buzzdmobilebar.com. Rescheduling may be available subject to bartender availability and is handled on a case-by-case basis; a rescheduling request made in good faith and with reasonable notice will not automatically be treated as a cancellation.
4. Permits & Venue Compliance
Buzz'd files Indiana ATC (Alcohol and Tobacco Commission) temporary permits on Client's behalf where required, and requires venue and event information at least 15 days before the event to meet the state's minimum 5-business-day filing window. Client is responsible for providing accurate and timely venue information. Delays in providing required information may impact our ability to file permits and, in some cases, may result in modified or cancelled service without refund of the retainer.
Client's venue may impose its own restrictions on the type of bar service permitted (e.g., beer/wine only, full bar, BYOB restrictions). It is Client's responsibility to confirm venue policies before booking. Buzz'd is not responsible for service limitations imposed by a venue after a contract has been signed.
5. Guest Count & Additional Staffing
Events with more than 75 guests require an additional bartender at an additional cost, as reflected in our pricing. Some add-on services may require an additional bartender regardless of total guest count. Final guest count must be confirmed with Buzz'd no later than 15 days before the event to ensure adequate staffing and supplies.
6. Service Hours & Add-Ons
Standard packages include up to 5 hours of bar service. Additional hours, extra mileage beyond the included 40 miles, bar rentals, mixer packages, and other add-ons are available at the rates listed on our Pricing page and must be requested and confirmed in advance of the event.
7. Client Responsibilities
- Purchasing sufficient alcohol per the shopping list and guest count provided during onboarding.
- Confirming venue alcohol policies and any required venue insurance or vendor documentation.
- Providing accurate event details (date, time, location, guest count) in a timely manner.
- Ensuring a safe, accessible setup location is available for bar equipment on the day of the event.
8. Limitation of Liability
Buzz'd carries full liquor liability insurance and maintains all required state permits and staff certifications. However, Buzz'd is not liable for guest conduct, over-consumption by guests, or any consequences arising from alcohol Client has provided. Buzz'd's bartenders reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated or underage, consistent with Indiana law and responsible service practices.
9. Force Majeure
Buzz'd is not responsible for failure to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disaster, government order, or other emergency. In such cases, we will work with Client in good faith to reschedule where possible.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time a service agreement is signed governs that booking. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for future bookings.
